Our family’s world was turned upside down last Saturday when Kent was diagnosed with a brain tumor after suffering from headaches. Everything happened so quickly and just last Thursday, he underwent brain surgery, and we are now facing the heartbreaking reality that he also has stage 4 lung cancer. Kent is a deeply loved husband, father, Papa, and friend. He’s the kind of person who has always been there for others strong, dependable, and full of heart. Whether it was helping someone in need, making people laugh, or simply showing up when it mattered most, Kent has always put his family and loved ones first. Now, he is facing the biggest fight of his life. As he begins this long and difficult journey of recovery and treatment, our family is doing everything we can to support him. The emotional toll is heavy, and the financial burden from medical bills, treatments, and time away from work is overwhelming.
