To solve the issue of inconvenient, bulky, artificially scented sanitary pads,  and help women save money from multiple purchases every month, Plasence launched a thin and lighter pad with multiple package options. With plans for customization event. 

The average Ghanaian woman has the vague idea that the "Thicker the sanitary pad, the more it absorbs". Most thick sanitary pads are produced from dyed, shredded cardbox and cheap cotton pulp. To solve the issue and inconvenience caused by thick, artificially scented pads, Plasence launched a sustainable sanitary pad which is lighter and thinner. Using a gel cotton material and embedded with an anion chip which helps solve the issues of menstrual inconveniences.
Our pads are packed in card boxes which gives us an edge over the competition. We've given the menstruating woman the chance to save money on excess purchases and an opportunity in the future to customize their menstrual supplies for each quarter based on their flow type.

In January of 2024, Plasence launched 2,000pcs of sanitary pads with 2 variants (10pcs Normal Flow and 10pcs Heavy Flow) as our MVP to test the market after giving out trial products to friends and family. Reception of the MVP was impressive both on social media and in the open market. Our MVP sold out in less than 10 months and all our sales was done via B2C (social media and open market promotions) our social media advertisement was very crucial to our initial success, with lots of reviews and demand when our products went out of stock. 
We increased our order from 2,000pcs to 8,500pcs and we are already creating awareness for the new variants we'll be introducing. 

To give the menstruating woman control over her menstrual supplies, we will host quarterly events where they can customize their supplies for 3 whole months and watch it packed before them, saving them money on buying excess sanitary pads each month. 
The goal is to become a household brand and have our products stocked in every wholesale and retail outlet in Ghana and Africa.
