Hi everyone, this is my 3 and a half year old dog Riley. Riley was a gift from my boyfriend and has been an integral part of our lives since day one. He's been with us through every movie night and date, curling up right between us, and he's become more or less like our first child. Tragically, Riley got injured recently in a way that I can't help but feel responsible for. In a moment of carelessness, he jumped out of a moving car on the highway and was hit. The guilt is overwhelming, knowing that I should have taken better care of him, ensuring his safety at all times. I can't bear the thought of losing him; he means the world to me, and I'd do anything to see him healthy and happy again. Unfortunately, the vet bills for his treatment have skyrocketed, and despite wanting nothing more than for him to recover, I'm struggling to manage the financial burden on my own.
