If you grew up around Staten Island basketball, chances are Coach Mike “Coach” Reape had a hand in shaping your life — on the court and off it.

Mike has always been the guy who showed up early, stayed late, and put his players first. He coached with passion, humor, and heart, and he built teams that felt more like families. Long after the final buzzer, he stayed connected to his players, mentoring them, encouraging them, and celebrating their successes.

Today, Mike is facing the toughest fight of his life.

As many of you know, Mike has been battling serious medical issues, including cancer treatment and complications that have kept him hospitalized for extended periods. The medical costs and day-to-day expenses have become overwhelming, and simply put — Coach Reape needs our help now.

This fundraiser is about giving back to someone who gave so much to so many. Any contribution — large or small — will help Mike focus on healing instead of worrying about how to get by.
