Hi, my name is Lulu, and I’m reaching out because my child, my dog, and I are currently homeless after escaping a domestic violence situation. Leaving was not a choice it was survival. I had to protect my child, even though it meant walking away from stability, support, and nearly everything we owned. I chose safety over fear, but starting over from nothing has been overwhelming.

Right now, I’m doing everything I can to keep us safe, fed, and together. Each day comes with uncertainty where we will sleep, how I will provide for my child, and how long I can keep us afloat. I am trying to rebuild, but I can’t do it alone. I am asking for help to cover safe, stable housing, food and basic necessities for my child, transportation, emergency expenses, and a small foundation so I can begin rebuilding our lives.

My greatest hope is to get my son into a stable home that we can call our own, where we can finally be at peace. I want to give him the security and comfort he deserves, and to rebuild a life where we can both heal and look forward to the future.
