About this fundraiser

Hi! My name is Victoria, and I am currently reaching out during a difficult time in my life. I was recently diagnosed with HER2-positive breast cancer, which is considered a more aggressive form of cancer than others. This diagnosis has changed my life in ways I never imagined. At the age of 25, I never thought I would face this battle, but I am pushing through.

I am currently undergoing several chemotherapy treatments to tackle the cancer cells aggressively. The chemotherapy has come with its side effects on my body that have made me too exhausted to get out of bed some days. After chemotherapy is over, I must go through surgery, then radiation, and lastly either continued targeted therapy or hormone therapy. The emotional toll is heavy, but I do stay hopeful and strong through my diagnosis.

Alongside the physical strain of cancer, it has also caused financial challenges in my life. Co-pays, medications, and additional care needs continue to add up as I go through this process. I have been on leave from my job since my cancer diagnosis, which significantly reduced my income. There are also costs that insurance doesn’t fully cover, such as certain supportive treatments that help me manage side effects and maintain quality of life during chemotherapy.

This journey has been humbling, and asking for help does not come easily for me. But I’ve learned that no one should have to fight cancer alone. I want to sincerely say thank you for reading my story. Your support—whether through donating, sharing this page, or sending heartfelt messages—will help relieve the financial and emotional stress so I can focus on healing, staying strong, and getting through the long road ahead of me.

Every contribution, big or small, brings me one step closer to recovery and gives me the peace of mind to focus on what matters most: beating cancer.

P.S. – Be kind to those around you; you never know what someone is going through. Kind gestures can be God’s way of bringing comfort to a hurting heart. “Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.” (Proverbs 16:24)
