Help Me Fight for More Time

My name is Stephen. I'm 31 years old, blessed with an incredible wife, Megan, and together we've worked hard to build a small business and a life we're proud of. Like so many families, we've had our share of struggles, but we've always believed that if we worked hard and stayed together, we could get through anything.

Nothing could have prepared us for this.

I've recently learned that I need open-heart surgery. Hearing those words changed everything. In an instant, my focus shifted from running our business and planning for the future to simply hoping for a successful surgery and the chance to keep living the life I love with my wife.

The truth is, I'm scared.

I'm scared of the surgery, scared of the recovery, and scared of the financial burden it will place on our family. As a small business owner, if I'm not able to work, our income comes to a halt. The medical bills, everyday expenses, and the time I'll need to heal have created a mountain that feels impossible to climb alone.

I'm not someone who finds it easy to ask for help. I've always wanted to be the one helping others, not the one asking. But today, I'm humbly reaching out because I want the chance to heal without the constant worry of how we're going to pay our bills or keep our lives together while I'm recovering.
