About this fundraiser

Hey everyone. I’m reaching out during an incredibly difficult time.

After spending a wonderful week with my best friend in Cincinnati to celebrate our friendaversary, we drove to Louisville, our midway point, so I could drop her off closer to home and meet her father. On my way back from that visit, the car I was driving suddenly lost control and spun out. I hit the guard rail, and the entire driver's side was crushed. The car was completely totaled. I was lucky to walk away from the accident, but I was stranded until the police could bring me to a nearby hotel, where I waited for my friend to return and take me home.

Now, I’m left without a car and no means of transportation.

I live with my mother and my three younger brothers. My mom is both physically and mentally disabled, and I help care for her every day. My brothers also need a lot of support; my oldest brother is profoundly autistic, and the youngest has ADHD. I, myself, am also physically and mentally disabled, and without a car, it's incredibly hard for me to manage medical appointments, run errands, or provide the care my family relies on.

We’re not just asking for help replacing a car—we’re asking for a lifeline to stability, safety, and support.

Anything you can give, even just sharing this fundraiser, means the world to us. Thank you for taking the time to read our story.

With love and gratitude,
Mikey. You may also know me as Tako, Voidz, or shadowfelled.
