Latest update as of Jun 29, 2025

  • Obviously Jade is out of the hospital at this point but they still won't remove his gallbladder because of risks. The bills are still stacked against us. Between our regular bills and prescriptions that the insurance won't cover(one of them alone is $3,500 after insurance and coupons and we haven't been able to even think about filling that one) and irregular hours at work, we're still struggling to get by. Any amount donated is another day we survive and another day closer to his liver transplant and gallbladder removal. I can be reached on Facebook(Christina Day) for direct donation information to avoid delays and processing fees(it takes about a week for a donation to hit my account and takes 3%)
Please feel free to pass this along to anybody that might be willing to help

About this fundraiser

Friday, May 30, Jade was brought to the emergency room. Initially, they were under the impression that his gallbladder was inflamed but after much testing, it turns out his gallbladder AND liver possibly both need surgery and he was admitted. To add insult to injury, he also has a massive infection in his blood and in his heart that are requiring him to be hospitalized and closely monitored until further notice for heavy antibiotics before they will even start thinking about surgery. Where it stands, they have no idea how long he will be hospitalized and what the full extent of his health is. They're tackling one thing at a time for the time being so as to not overstress his body.

Obviously with everything going on, that means I will be the only one able to work for the foreseeable future so any donation made goes to helping with medical costs, bills, and transportation for me to get back and forth from the hospital as often as I can. Message either one of us on Facebook for ways to donate directly if you would prefer that. I am obviously awake more often and more responsive, but Jade will get back to anybody as soon as possible as well. Any help is beyond appreciated.
