Hi I'm Christy and I need a new heart! I have had an LVAD (left ventricular assist device) for 5 years. I am getting more sick and I need a transplant. 

There is aloooot of testing to get to the transplant list.  I have completed everything except for my dental clearance and my eye clearance. 

My dental issues are going to cost me about $3500. I have dental insurance but the benefit has already been used. 

I also have a retinal detachment I have to get surgically repaired before I get cleared by the eye doctors. Because of my heart being so sick and the LVAD there are no opthalmologists in Indiana that will do the surgery. I have to get this done at the University of Louisville Hospital. It will be a 3 day Hospital admission and I need financial help with that. My insurance company isn't wanting to pay at all, and if they do it won't be 100% . I will also need to cover some expenses for the trip.

I worked 23 years for the same company before I got to sick to work. Now I am borrowing $ every single month just to pay bills and get my medicines

I really need help!!! I WANT TO LIVE! Even with all of this I am still so blessed and so thankful for this beautiful life. I have 3 grandkids I want to dance in the sunshine with when I am able to get my new heart

I am so overwhelmed and scared and excited ALL AT ONCE!!
