Hi I'm Christy and I need a new heart! I have had an LVAD (left ventricular assist device) for 5 years. I am getting more sick and I need a transplant very soon

I am currently inpatient in the hospital and listed as a status 3 on the transplant list. My medical team sent a request to the transplant board today to request I be moved up to a status 2. If I can get moved to a status 2 I would probably be staying in the hospital until I get my new heart 

My heart is so sick at this point that it is causing my kidneys to fail and other organs to be super stressed. It started as left side heart failure and it is now failing on the right side too

I would be so grateful for anything you can do to help with medical bills and care for after I receive my heart ❤️
