My name is Sarah Barnes! I am currently making this fundraiser for My beautiful mother! For help with her funeral and cremation! Amanda Elizabeth Barnes-(Davis) who passed away unexpectedly on December 22nd at 11:59 am… although crushed and broken, I am also happy for her and have tried to keep memories happy and keep the laughter we shared almost everyday of my life! Anytime I was with her. There are moments I catch myself wanting to scream and cry and ask “god why….” But I know deep down in my soul why…. It’s because she was sick…. She’s been sick her entire life! She’s been fighting all of her life! And the life she gave to us! for years! I remember watching her struggle from such a young age, but that NEVER stopped her from being my mother! She always cooked my breakfast just how I liked it! She always got up out of bed even on the days her body physically wouldn’t let her! She was such a fighter… she truly was! she was the strongest and most resilient woman I ever met! But oh boy was she hard headed! And stubborn! that’s why she was such a great fighter cause man she was a stubborn woman! She never let anything or anyone hold her down and bring her down! Even though she had a sickness that tried every single day—Every single second—To take everything away from her! And even more issues on top of one of the biggest hardest diseases someone could have to go through…I watched her kick and scream on the inside fighting it! And trying so hard to just be normal and feel normal!….fighting MS and all the other sickness took a lot from her….. and one of those things it took from her was her security for if anything was to happen to her because of them…. Since she had relapse remitting M.S.—lupus, and heart problems, as well as so many other health issues she was denied life insurance…. She tried over and over countless times…. And they always denied her because of the health problems and issues she had…. And she was not financially able to save for a tragic event like this….. due to her sickness she was on disability for most of her life. For those that know disability doesnt pay very much—just enough to live… and sometimes not even that….. and my father he was never in the picture so she did it on her own with the help of my grandmother! Who was also not in the best of health her self…. To do much…. She worked to keep us afloat with the hospital bills, insurance bills, and medical expenses. Then my grandmother also got put on disability…. So we are asking that if anyone could help, please consider! She deserves a great service…Donate to give her a funeral, have her cremated, and finally have some of her buried next to my Mammaw which she had always wanted! She was sick my entire life and we plan to spread her around everywhere she wanted to go! All the places her heart and soul desired to go! That she never was able to and she was never able to do to her issues… we was told that it’s gonna cost anywhere from 6,500-8,000 for everything…. And we don’t expect to get everything but if you could we would feel so blessed and thankful! Anything helps! Even just 1 dollar! Thank you for taking the time to read my mother’s story!
