We are reaching out during an incredibly challenging time to ask for support for my brother, his wife, their two children, and their beloved family pets—two cats and two dogs who depend on them every day.
Recently, my brother underwent surgery that has left him unable to work while he recovers. What was already a tight situation quickly became overwhelming, and this unexpected medical setback has placed an immense financial strain on their household.
Even while healing, my brother refuses to give up. He has been DoorDashing daily just to keep food on the table and lights on, but the income simply isn’t enough to cover rent, utilities, groceries, transportation, and basic household needs. With four children of the furry and human kind relying on them, every day brings added pressure. He is actively waiting on job opportunities and is eager to return to steady work as soon as his health allows.
We are hoping to raise $5,000 to help this family stay afloat during this critical transition. These funds will go directly toward essential living expenses and ensuring their children—and pets—remain safe, housed, and cared for while my brother continues his recovery and secures stable employment.
