So i wrecked my motorcycle august 6th and broke my neck and pinched my spine the other driver was at fault but did not have insurance and so i went to a spine surgeon to discuss my options and he said that surgery would be necessary to correct the damage from the accident well its been almost 1 month since the accident and im feeling pretty good a little soreness and my broken bones are still healing in my neck but all things considered I feel pretty good i went back to the doctor on Friday the 23rd and after speaking to him it seems as though getting the surgery now is not 100% necessary now that does not mean i dont need it but that it can waiy maybe 10 weeks maybe 10 months maybe 10years but as of for right now i am opting out of the surgery and I will ride it out until it becomes 100% necessary just wanted to give an update im still out of work for at least another 3-4 weeks give or take thamk you all for your support Jeramie Marquez

About this fundraiser

Sometimes the unexpected happens and changes your whole world. Sometimes it's for the good, other times not so much. Just like most Americans right now my family of 6 was already struggling to make ends meet, then someone decided to go ahead and make that left turn in hopes they could make it in time. Well in this scenario not making it in time would not have caused a whole lot of damage to this driver or his vehicle. The guy on the motorcycle that he turned right in front of, on the other hand…………….. is why I am asking for any available and willing help. My name is Siobhan and my fiance is Jeramie, we have a 3 bedroom home, 3 awesome dogs (2 of which could use some help from a vet), 4 amazing children (3 teenagers and a 9 yr old little boy). We have our ups and downs just like any family does. On Aug 6th, i was not having the best of days due to headache that just wouldn't quit, so fell asleep fairly early, right after Jeramie told me he was going to take his bike to the bank to deposit the mortgage money, as he had just fixed his motorcycle and was pretty excited about it. I woke up a little later to my oldest son handing me his phone “Daddy wants to talk to you”. Babe i wrecked my bike, the ambulance is here and says I'm alright but I'm not so sure that's the case, can u bring the trailer and come get me?' Anyways, long story short, he laid it over to avoid full on collision, he was knocked out, not taken to the hospital, and had tire marks on his now destroyed helmet. Two days later we find out he has a double fracture on c6 in his neck. NOT GOOD! I have not been working, I've been trying to do something toward having our own business and trying to focus more on the kids now and our familys' future so we are not working ourselves to death and leaving our children to raise themselves. And now Jeramie can't work at all. Now we find that his spinal canal at the base of his neck is bruised because its pinched and almost fully pinched off. Choices? Spinal fusion or paralyzation. Scary. We have been trying to figure out help financially and going to doctors all while soccer season and school just started for the kids. All of which are not cheap. We have already listed everything we can on facebook marketplace and spent that on school clothes and supplies. Finally found a lawyer who wont charge us anything to help until the end, which could take months. I'm trying to continue the insurance courses i started as well as get a job cooking. And we are out of options that either of us can see. The bills are due the food is gone and we could really use a miracle. But a little helping hand from an able and willing soul would be a miracle to us right now. So, Im asking for a helping hand just getting through the next couple months without loosing our home or having to live without power or water. Any generous donation would be extremely appreciated. If your local maybe we could wash your car or do some type similar service to show our appreciation.? We need any help we can get as soon as humanly possible. Its a really shitty feeling not knowing if we will be able to keep a roof over the kids heads. Thank you so very much i am eternally grateful to anyone who even takes the time to read this and considers helping us out. Thank you Thank you Thank you
