My Story:

Hi, my name is Priscilla Castillo. I'm reaching out today because I need your help to not only make a dream come true but also to survive in my current situation.

I recently wrote a Christian children's book about a little girl who experiences nightmares. Her mother teaches her to pray, and through her newfound faith, the little girl discovers God's presence, which helps eliminate her fears and brings peace to her nights. This story is deeply personal to me, and I believe it can bring comfort and hope to many children facing similar fears.

However, I'm facing extreme hardship. I am currently homeless in Ludington, Michigan, with no source of income. My life took a drastic turn when I lost my best friend in Arizona, where I was living. Since then, I've been stranded here, struggling to survive without a job, a car, or a place to call home. My friend's family has not been cooperating with helping me get my things, so I’ve been left with nothing.

I’m trying to raise a total of $9,500 to cover both the publishing of my book and my immediate needs. Here’s a breakdown of the costs:

- **Book Publishing & Promotion:** $6,400
- **First Month's Rent & Deposit for a Safe Place to Live:** $1,000
- **Basic Necessities (Food, Hygiene Products, etc.):** $500
- **Winter Clothing (Jackets, Boots, Gloves, Hats):** $400
- **Quality Tent & Sleeping Bag for Winter:** $400
- **Portable Heater & Generator:** $300
- **Transportation (Gas & Minor Car Repairs):** $500

Winter is fast approaching, and being homeless in Michigan during this time is incredibly dangerous without proper clothing and shelter. I have no winter clothes, no tent, and no heater, which are essential to survive the cold months ahead.

I've tried everything I can think of to make ends meet, including panhandling, but it’s been a painful and humiliating experience. People don’t know my story and are quick to judge. I never thought I’d find myself in this position, and it’s been incredibly hard.

But I haven’t given up. I’ve poured my heart into writing this book, hoping it could be a way forward for me. This book is dedicated to my children, and I dream of them one day seeing it and knowing that I never stopped fighting for a better future.
