My best friend, Jackie Gleitz, and her three kids recently went through something no family should ever have to face. A fire destroyed their home and everything inside it. By the grace of God they made it out safely, but they are now standing in the middle of a loss that is hard to put into words. Every belonging, every comfort, every bit of normal life — gone within moments. Even the kids’ Christmas gifts, which they were so excited for, were lost.

They are overwhelmed, heartbroken, and trying to process where to even begin. Starting over from nothing is an unimaginable place to be, especially so close to the holidays. They truly need everything — clothing, shoes, coats, household items, toiletries, and anything to help them rebuild the simplest pieces of daily life. Any donation, gift card, whether big or small, will make a real difference, as they try to regain stability.
