About this fundraiser

I was told today that a friend that I have known for over 30 years, had a life change.  She is a very good person and has always been a great worker and has a great heart for any one that she meets. She had a good husband that she lost about 10 years ago and has 3 children that are her team. She works and pays bills and teaches her children to respect. The children are 12, 14, and 15. They are not old enough to get jobs yet, but they have been doing things for people to earn some money for their self. They do alot of family things that do cost alot and they don't get far from their mom because they are her support.  I know that there are places that help to get them an apartment and food and clothing but I also know that they lost their belongings and will not be supported to pay their bills and get their lives in a way they can make it easy.  I have had alot of support from Columbia Love and I know they will help as much as they can but if you have never had to ask for assistance it's extremely hard to get in contact with the places that are supporting, when you still have a job and need to get your thoughts in order and not be depressed about the  lloss of your belongings and the way life has been completely flipped in a short time.  I have had alot happen to me in the past 5 months..jobs ..move..no money..had to ask for assistance..have Greg and my Mom supporting me..I  have not felt anything but major depression and I have not been around any one for months because I have so many things going on with my life that I can't be with people and hear them talk about their work issues or negative issues with any one.  Tthink about working hard and then not having any money to pay your bills and getting months behind because jobs don't want to pay more than $12 to $14 and hour with getting scheduled for less than 30 hours a week.  I know I can't pay my rent, car payment and insurance and utilities and have any money for extra payments to catch up on late payments especially when you already live pay check to paycheck and get paid bi-weekly.  So I am there and I know that this family is going to need help from more than a organization to get a home and some clothing that they probably won't be shopping for their self.  Please don't take this that I am begging. I don't know anyone that is not in the perfect world of not having to work to have what they want..and I definitely don't know any Millionaires that will support anyone for a period of time to get their lives completely comfortable.  So please think of helping if you can. Like I said before..support from organizations help to get them back to a home and personal things.  But not having money to buy any thing on your own or try not to get months behind on living really does make a good person depressed. Thank you. I will keep you posted on this special family.
