Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

My name is Christina, I am the proud mother of four incredible daughters who are the reason I have created this fundraiser. 

We are facing an unimaginable crisis and are on the brink of losing our housing.

My daughters, two of which are proud and very loved Bondurant Blue Jays, Veda and Ivy Krone, have grown up here, building friendships, excelling in school, and participating in community activities that shape their bright futures. 

Our neighborhood is more than just a place to live; it is a support system that has been there for us through thick and thin. 
 
We have faced personal struggles and health diagnoses that have compounded the past three very challenging years.

Major family dynamic changes, leaving me the sole caretaker of my children, loss of income and health issues, including my diagnosis with Lupus. 

Despite my very best efforts to manage all the responsibilities, and exhausting every single resource I could to try to save the only home my girls have known and provide stability for their future, our beloved home we built in 2017,  went into foreclosure and was sold at auction to the bank. 

We are now facing the imminent reality of being without housing. My heart is heavy to think of the future they could be losing, the anxiety and fear we feel with so much uncertainty after fighting so hard to get this far. 

Unfortunately, community/ government housing assistance programs are either closed to the public or have wait lists of 1-3 years. This leaves us with very few options and a dire need for immediate support. 

How You Can Help: We are urgently looking to secure a rental home for our family within Bondurant, get back on our feet and feel a sense of “normal” and safety again. 
 
All donations will go to: 

 

• Securing a safe and stable rental home for my daughters and get back on our feet/ assisting with the expenses of moving
• Provide us the opportunity to remain in our cherished community and work towards a sustainable and stable future. 
   

Ensuring my daughters can continue attending their current schools and maintain their academic progress, limiting the emotional impact at such young ages is and always will be top priority.

I am humbly reaching out to you, our friends, family, and compassionate strangers, for help during this desperate time.
