This is a picture of my children, animated to protect their identity.
I’ve been working full-time and taking on side jobs like painting and landscaping, but most of my earnings have gone to motel stays. With funds running out, we’re asking for help with rent and a security deposit so we can finally move into stable housing.
I drive my four children (two in high school, one in middle, one in elementary) to their schools every day, even though it’s costly in gas, because it gives them stability and normalcy. Their father has helped when he can, though his job has been slow to pay him.
Though we are not together, this difficult season has led us to consider reconciliation and remarriage. While that would be a blessing, our focus right now is securing a safe, stable home for our children.
Living in motels has been humbling, especially without a way to cook meals. We are working as hard as we can, but time is running out.
If you feel led, please help us restart with housing and a chance to rebuild.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
God bless!
