I’m reaching out for help because my husband of 25 years was diagnosed with Melanoma in the Lungs and Brain he has over 19 tumors on the brain. He has had radiation to shrink them to have 18 news ones come back. He has been on immunotherapy but his body keeps rejecting it and putting him in the hospital. So it has spread to lymph nodes, muscles, adrenal glands, some behind kidneys and some behind the spleen. Within the month he has rapidly declined to wearing oxygen at night. He has been in hospital with sepsis to be sent home better and not even 2 weeks later we are back in hospital in respiratory failure and congest heart failure. A month again his heart was great now it’s working very slowly. He has been tachycardic for a week now. if he gets up heart rate shoots to 170s. I believe the end is near and I don’t know what to do. He was the sole provider my job was just spending money now neither of us are working. He will get disability at the end of the month but not sure if he will last till then and if he does how much past that he will go. He has a life insurance policy that will bury him and all those expenses but I could really use some helps with my bills at home and the hospital bills as of now I owe hospital $163,000. I am not one to ask for help so this is killing me and making me feel really low for asking but I don’t know what to do. My whole life has been shattered he is my world and I don’t know how to live without him. I am stressing so much about so many things any help would be greatly appreciated. It’s only been 6 months since the initial diagnosis and its very aggressive. He has the NRAS gene which makes it even worse. We have tried gamma knife that’s what put us in hospital in respiratory failure and according to oncologist we are out of options and we believe he could be actively dying now. Please if you could help me in any way it would mean the world to me and help me so much.
