I was mauled by a pit bull and have essentially lost everything.  Whatever resources I had are depleted and it is time for me to secure employment.  There is an issue with seeking work and getting to and from work because I had to let my car go because of the payments.  I would take public transportation but ever since the attack I am scared to death that a pit bull is going to come up from behind me and tear me to pieces.

My rent is coming up in about 20 days, the typical bills that require payment and I have pretty much allowed myself to become delinquent but managing to keep the power, and water, and phone, on but I have reached my limit.

The funds I am requesting will go toward buying a reliable used car for approximately $5,000, give or take a few hundred.  I should count this as my number one priority and it certainly is a contender, but a roof over my head seems just as important and all the little things that quickly add up to $8,500.   For the record, if I was being greedy I would have asked for more, but this amount is just to get me back on my feet.  A car will go a long way in doing this as it will take care of a few vital things having one.

I am new at this so I think I should mention that I will make every effort to repay the money that may be forthcoming.  I should also mention that I will gladly provide any documentation to anyone that asks in an effort to substantiate what I have shared.  I hope this will alleviate and misgivings or concerns anyone might have.
