I never imagined I would be in a position where I had to ask for help like this, but right now I truly need it. My husband was detained by ice at an immigration check in to speed up his court proceedings on Sep 10th. He is not a criminal and was patiently waiting for his immigration stuff to be processed. But expenses of daily life and attorney fees have become overwhelming for me. 

We are facing urgent immigration legal expenses that will determine his future,  and his ability to remain with his loved ones. The legal system is complicated and overwhelming, and without proper representation, the consequences could be life-changing.

Due to financial hardship, I simply cannot afford the attorney fees, court costs, and filing expenses required to properly handle his case. I am doing everything I can to stay strong and handle this responsibly, but I cannot do it alone.

This situation has caused tremendous stress and uncertainty. My mental health has been affected tremendously dealing with this alone while he is stuck in an immigration holding facility. Having qualified legal support is critical — and time-sensitive.
