On Tuesday, February 3rd, we lost a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, Billy Ray Collins, at the age of 87. Billy Ray was a lifelong resident of Cleveland County—a hardworking man who retired as a spinner and a faithful member of Victory Baptist Church in Lattimore. He was a man of simple faith and deep roots on Curtis Road.
While we grieve his passing, his devoted wife of 15 years, Donna, is facing an incredibly difficult road ahead.
The Need
Billy Ray’s passing has left Donna with the sudden and heavy financial burden of funeral and burial expenses. As many of you know, Donna lives on an extremely fixed income and spends her days selflessly caring for her two granddaughters.
This unexpected expense is simply more than one person can carry alone. Donna’s only wish is to ensure that her husband is laid to rest with the dignity and peace he deserves, but she needs her community’s help to make that happen.
How You Can Help
We are reaching out to friends, neighbors, and the community to ask for your support. No donation is too small—every dollar goes directly toward:
- Funeral service costs
- Burial and cemetery fees
- Support for Donna and the granddaughters during this transition
If you are unable to donate, we ask that you please share this page and keep Donna, the girls, and the entire Collins family in your prayers as they navigate this profound loss.
Thank you for your kindness, your generosity, and for helping us honor Billy Ray’s memory.
Please donate to comment.
