Mama Maria is a woman full of life. She loves gardening, always looks forward to camping, mild hikes, and cooking with her grandkids. Her highlight is being surrounded by her loved ones and spending time with her grandchildren. Recently, Mama Maria was diagnosed with Adenocarcinoma (A.K.A. advanced  Pancreatic cancer), and her life has drastically changed. Unfortunately, there were no early warning signs of this illness taking over her body, but thankfully, she is now undergoing chemotherapy in Phoenix, Arizona. The back-and-forth trips to get her to her specialist appointments are a lot for her body and mind to take on, considering her delicate state.

The costs of medical and travel expenses are quickly adding up, putting a strain on the family’s finances and time. Despite these challenges, she remains prayerful and determined to continue this fight against cancer. She wants nothing more than to create more memories with her children, grandchildren, and those who surround her. 

We’re raising funds primarily to help with medical and travel costs, so she can focus on her treatment and comfort, as well as to cover some desired wishes that she would like to accomplish while her health still allows her to do so.

The funds are needed as soon as possible, for her to continue attending her chemotherapy treatments, every 2 weeks, and possibly every 10 days after that. Her upcoming infusion is in the week of July 2025.
