It is with great sadness that I announce the sudden passing of my brother, Emerson (Sonny), at the age of 41. Despite struggling with heart complications for several years, his passing this past weekend (1.3.2026) was unexpected. Recent hospital visits had prepared us for the worst, but the loss remains devastating. Having lost our mother to COVID-19 in June 2020 and our father in September 2024, it's comforting to think that Sonny is now with them, providing some solace in our grief. Sonny was a pillar of strength for our family, known for his infectious laughter and ability to brighten any room. His passing leaves a void that can never be filled. As the holiday season has just concluded, we are struggling to find the means to give him the proper farewell he deserves.
