It is with deep sorrow that we share the passing of Angela Scruggs, who departed this life unexpectedly on October 15, 2025 in Northridge, California.

Angela was born and raised in Indianapolis, IN where she built a life full of love, connection, and community. In 2020, following a cancer diagnosis, she relocated to California to live with her daughter, Dawnmonique Scruggs, who lovingly and faithfully cared for her until her passing.

Angela was a vibrant, joyful presence-truly the life of every gathering. Her warm spirit, infectious laughter, and generous heart touched countless lives. She found great joy in cooking, hosting, and pouring into others. Throughout her life, she supported many ministries, organizations, and individuals leaving a legacy of kindness and service

Angela was preceded in death by her husband, James Scruggs. She will be laid to rest in Indianapolis, IN alongside her mother, Thelma Little, and her brother, Angelo Faccone. Bringing her home will provide comfort and a sense of closure for her family.

During Angela's illness, Dawnmonique gave selflessly using her personal resources to care for her mother's needs including medical expenses and initial funeral preparations. At this time, the family is seeking support to assist with the final arrangements to bring Angela home to Indianapolis for burial.
