As a rideshare driver, my vehicle is essential for me to service customers and support myself and my family. Unfortunately, I recently found myself in a terrifying situation while on duty. I picked up a woman and her child, only to have an abusive man unexpectedly jump into the backseat and start brutally assaulting the woman. I immediately went into protective mode, doing everything I could to shield them from harm. However, the situation took a sinister turn when the abuser turned his rage towards me, attempting to take my life while we were all trapped inside the car. Thankfully, we managed to escape, but not without my vehicle being completely totaled. This unfortunate event has caused significant financial hardship as I now need to find a way to replace my car in order to continue supporting my family.
