About this fundraiser

Out of nowhere on 7/9, Jack lost all feeling in his legs. After a quick visit to the ER, Jack was taken back for emergency spinal surgery where they found out he haa Cuada Equina Syndrome (CES). This syndrome only affects roughly 1 in 100,000 people. The neurosurgeon said if Jack ever gets to where he can walk with a walker and leg braces he will be thrilled.
Jack and his family have a long road ahead of them. He will be moving to a rehab hospital for at least a couple weeks of intense rehab and then determine what the next steps will be. In the meantime, Jack is unable to work which as we all can imagine, adds in additional stress.
Jacks family visits daily but for the kids it is not as fulfilling as having their dad home. It has been hard on them having their biggest fan not able to cheer at their games just as it’s been hard on his wife trying to be everywhere by herself. She has been driving back and forth from the hospital multiple times a day while trying to keep a somewhat normal life for the kids right now And not miss anything.
Jack and Katie are too prideful to ever ask for anything, which is why I want to ask for them. The trips to the hospital, the new hospital bills, the cut of an income temporarily catches up quick. If you would like to support this family for meals, gift cards, or simply any donation, I know it would mean a lot to them (Even when they tell everyone they are fine.)

All the Allens want when they are asked are continued prayers. Thank you to everyone who keeps thesl Endless prayers going.
