About this fundraiser

It started as a knot on the side of his neck, we thought it was a cyst. I urged him just to get it checked out at our local free clinic. Turns out, it’s stage 4 salivary cancer. We live in Tennessee on our own land. We couldn’t afford a house so we stay in a “tiny house”. It has electric but not plumbing. We have to trek up to a trailer that’s on the property that is only good for its toilet and shower because all the floors are falling in. We really thought we would have more time and energy to repair things around here but it didn’t work out that way. Neither one of us are the type to ask anyone for help. My concern is what’s coming. Chemotherapy and radiation and him having to run to the bathroom several times at night or day. If we had this money, we would invest in an rv or something more suitable for him while he is receiving treatment. He doesn’t want to leave the property because he cares for his elderly father who is oxygen dependent, in a wheelchair and deaf. I just want to help him. I’ll be here through it all but my heart is really going to break when I can’t do anything to make him more comfortable. It would mean everything to get this help. He would be more comfortable and we could stay here to help his dad.
