  • Good News!!!!!!!!!!

Hey everyone, I wanted to post an update for you all. Things have been going well for us as of late. We made a change to the meds I have been taking and it has made things much better on a daily basis. I met with my oncologist this morning and things are looking very good. My tumor marker was negative again which means the tumor is completely gone!!!!!!!!!! This is a huge deal as it gets us one step closer to a cancer free lifestyle. My bloodwork continues to improve and almost all my numbers in in the normal range for a healthy old guy like me. Its been a long time since we have seen all green in the blood tests. My oncologist is confident that there is no cancer left, however we are going to continue with the last 4 rounds of chemo and do round 9 tomorrow morning. Then in late January we will do a scan just to confirm all the cancer is done. It has been a long rough road but there is light at the end of the tunnel. All indicators show that we are almost done and one step closer to ringing that bell. I want to thank all you from the bottom of my heart for the support, the calls, texts, dinners and just all around support that you have shown our family since my diagnosis. It may seem like nothing to just send a text and it may seem insignificant to you but it means the world to us. It really provides a sense of security that is really needed. This is a very tough battle and by far the hardest thing we have ever went through and to do it alone would be unbearable. All the support we have seen is what has gotten us to where we are today, and maybe a few sick days on my part!!! We are approaching the end of this journey and only have a few more treatments left. Again, we love each and every one of you that have helped our with donations, calls, text, food or just hey come hang out with us!! It means the world to us and we would not be in the same position without you!!!!!!!!! Next up is a final scan ( Jan 23rd) to confirm what all the other tests are showing and then we ring the bell in February!!!!!!! Thank you to all of you!!!!!!!!!

About this fundraiser

We are all shocked to hear that Jason Holton was recently diagnosed with Colon Cancer and is in need of urgent surgery.
The Holtons are holding strong and awaiting approval to get his surgery perforned as soon as possible.

Friends and Family The Holtons need our help.

The bills are already stacking up, let alone the time Jason will need for recovery and Connie there to help him. He has been told he will need at least 6 weeks recovery for healing and next steps of post op have not yet been reviewed with them yet.

We all know The Holtons always go above and beyond for everyone. I would just like to come together and show them our love back. Any amount helps! I know they would be so appreciative ❤️

It's not how much we give but how much love we put into giving.

This Colon Cancer has just messed with the wrong butt!!

Thank you everyone ❤️
