  • Time for another update

Hey folks- I wanted to give you all another update as we have reached a milestone of sorts this week that I wanted to share with you all. I want to start out by thanking everyone who has donated to this fundraiser, shared it on their pages, or just told somebody about it. It is a very difficult time in our lives and financial stress is very high. I am currently considering going back to work since we have reached this milestone but the bills are piled up high and the income coming in just isn't covering it. If you can donate or help in any way, we sure do appreciate it. Share, like, tell your friends. Now onto the news I want to share with all of you. We have reached the half way point in my chemo schedule. I have been doing double doses of chemo for the past 3 months and in doing that, it really takes a lot out of you each week. Moving forward, we will be doing 6 more single doses and that means no more of the worst drug I have every had to take. My oncologist has assured me that the day to day life will be much easier as the meds I will continue to take do not cause near the side effects that the Oxaliplatin does. Should be no more cold sensitivity, no more neuropathy, and my most favorite, I should get my appetite and taste back!!!!!!! The journey has been very difficult so far but it seems there is a little relief in sight. We have a scan scheduled for mid January to really get a good view of where we are. I am very hopefully to get a clean report and being able to move forward with a cancer free life. I want to thank the people that have been reaching out to me almost daily for always thinking of us and always being there for us. Without all of you, we could not do this. This whole experience really makes a person understand the power of a support group and we could not have asked for a better support network. MCA Creations is our small business and we are doing several markets over the next few weeks in hopes to generate more income so please support this small business and get some great Christmas gifts for your loved ones and help us out at the same time. You can find MCA Creations on facebook or message Connie or I anytime if you are looking for our market schedule. Thanks again to everyone for always having our backs. It means the world to us to have all of you in our corner!!!!!!!!!!!

About this fundraiser

We are all shocked to hear that Jason Holton was recently diagnosed with Colon Cancer and is in need of urgent surgery.
The Holtons are holding strong and awaiting approval to get his surgery perforned as soon as possible.

Friends and Family The Holtons need our help.

The bills are already stacking up, let alone the time Jason will need for recovery and Connie there to help him. He has been told he will need at least 6 weeks recovery for healing and next steps of post op have not yet been reviewed with them yet.

We all know The Holtons always go above and beyond for everyone. I would just like to come together and show them our love back. Any amount helps! I know they would be so appreciative ❤️

It's not how much we give but how much love we put into giving.

This Colon Cancer has just messed with the wrong butt!!

Thank you everyone ❤️
