As many of you know, my son Jeff Hafler, his partner Chrissy, and their 6 year-old son, Theo live in Leipzig, Germany. I am currently raising money for Jeff and his family, as Jeffrey got ill on New Year’s Eve and was transported by ambulance to the hospital and subsequently underwent emergency surgery. 

Jeff was able to go home today and is in good spirits, however, the recovery period with this particular surgery (bowel resection) it is about 3 to 4 months. Chrissy is a great support to Jeff and an amazing mom to Theo. Jeff and Chrissy are currently looking into whatever support and funding might be available in Leipzig. 

Jeff had just secured a new job with BMW in Leipzig, and was due to start work on January 5th, but unfortunately the job contract was terminated due to Jeff being unable to work for the next 3 months.

We would appreciate any amount of funds that you are able to help with. The goal is to reach $10,300. This would help cover the apartment payment, utilities, food, and medical insurance. Thank you so very much for giving!
