Help support Jennifer Lacey in Her Fight Against Breast Cancer

Thank you for visiting this donation page.  I’m Jackie Ames and I’ve created this ‘Give A Hand’ to help offset the financial burden my sister Jennifer Lacey is facing.  

On March 2nd of this year Jennifer’s husband Dan unexpectedly passed away which was the first devastating blow of the year.  On July 24th, Jen was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, Nottingham – Grade 3, which is a more aggressive Breast Cancer.  Jennifer is currently Stage 2.  

Dan and Jen entered 2024 with hope and excitement for their future as they had just moved into their forever home, and as a two income family.  Now, as a sudden widow at the age of 50, Jennifer begins chemotherapy, followed by pending surgeries, with no income coming in for the unforeseeable future .  

Jennifer has dedicated her life to hard work and public service, both paid and volunteer.  While holding many titles in public safety over the years, her true character was once again revealed as Jennifer selflessly boarded a plane just 36 hours after receiving the devastating cancer diagnosis, she traveled to the Dominican Republic on a volunteer medical mission trip.  That’s just who Jennifer is, in a time of grief and personal crisis, she went with a happy heart to give back to families over 2,000 miles away.  We love her for so many things but her character, faith,  and dedication to service is unmatched.
