  • Some good news

We learned from his spine doctor that where Jesse fractured his back is in an area that missed his tendons. They have him in a brace to enencourage his bones to heal on their own.

Today was a special day because it was the first day Jesse got to eat real food. I got to feed him his first meal since Saturday. It was chicken, carrots, mashed potatos and gravy. Other than the food being cold he had no complaints. He devoured what he could.

Jesse was blown away by all the donations and kind words during this challenging time. He wanted me to thank you all again!

I'm thankful we had good news today. Keep him in your prayers for good news tomorrow!

About this fundraiser

My brother in law was in a horrific accident yesterday. While cutting down a large tree from his backyard. He had to be life flighted to the University of Utah hospital. He is in great hands but he will require a lot of care and that care cost money.

What we know right now. He has broken both wrists, his hip, he has a tear in his aorta and a laceration to his renal system. He has fractured some of his spine and has a brain bleed. We are very thankful for him to be a live and want him to be able to look forward to the future. He has a long recovery a head of him.

I will update with more information as it is made available to me.

Please donate what you can. If you are not able to make a donation, please share the fundraiser with others.
