Braelynn had her knee surgery in March and has been in PT 3 times a week since. That surgery had some unforseen complications. She had burns and blisters, and developed a deep pressure sore on her heel that was still healing when she had surgery last week.
We had surgery Tuesday 07/16. She has a non weight bearing cast until 08/12. At that point, they will remove her cast and remove the pin in her toe. Then we restart PT. We've had a long journey this year, with a lot more road to cover. But she is such a trooper and one of the toughest kids I know. She has kept a smile on her face for almost all of this. ❤️
