Sadly we lost Joe Alexander on September 9th. He has been a lifelong Illinois resident living in Ewing for almost his entire life, He went to sesser & Benton schools. He worked for the city of Ewing with Gordon who he loved dearly. This was obviously an unexpected tragedy and caught the entire family off Guard. I cannot put into words how much he did for his family and fiends, But most of all for his Nene. She is ill and older in years and he was her primary caregiver. Without him she feels completely lost and heartbroken and on top of that she cannot afford to pay for his services and funeral the way that she wants to, or in the way that Joe deserves due to being on a fixed income with the check just once a month. We're asking that anybody who knew Joe and what a big heart he had, how absolutely unique he was, and how much he did for his family and fiends to please help us out by donating what you can or by sharing with your friends and family so we can lay Joe to rest properly and settle Nene's mind. Joe was one of this world's finest. He is so loved and so missed already. All funds collected will go to Nene for his services thanks in advance. UPDATE: There will be a graveside service at the Masonic and odd fellows cemetery in Benton Thursday September 19th at 11 for family and friends.
If you can help every dollar counts and is very appreciated and my God bless you
