About this fundraiser

John has always been the kind of person who shows up. The friend who fixes your fence without being asked, the guy who laughs loud enough to pull everyone else into the moment, the one whose loyalty is steady even when life is anything but. He’s lived his life by giving more than he ever kept for himself.

Now he’s carrying a weight no one should have to lift alone.

John was recently diagnosed with stage 4 colon and liver cancer, a storm that came out of nowhere and hit with brutal force. The doctors are clear: this fight will take everything he has, and then some. Treatments, travel, medications, the endless costs that pile up long before anyone has the strength to process what’s happening. It’s a mountain he shouldn’t have to climb without a crowd behind him.

But John isn’t just a diagnosis. He’s stubborn in the best way. He’s got plans, dreams, and the kind of quiet courage that keeps pushing forward even on the days when standing up feels impossible. He’s choosing to fight, not because it’s easy but because there’s still so much worth fighting for.

This fundraiser is about giving him room to breathe, to focus on healing instead of bills. It’s about surrounding him with the same generosity he’s spent his life giving to everyone else. Every contribution, big or small, becomes part of the support holding him steady while he faces the hardest battle of his life.

If you can help, you become part of that circle. Part of the strength that carries a good man through the dark toward whatever light he can still reach.

For John, hope is still alive. And with help, it grows.
