I'm a 60 year old, In September 2013, I started having horrible headaches and started seeing double. After five doctors looking and treating for the wrong illness, I finally was diagnosed with brain cancer. I was hospitalized for seven days. I had biopsy done and doctors found out my tumor was malignant and inoperable.

Doctors prescribed chemotherapy and radiation treatment, which I finished by the end of December 2013.

After almost a year dealing with side effects, I ended up with a hospital bill of about $ 250,000.00, I'm still trying to work to pay it off. Also, in September 2024, I had eye surgery to repair the nerves that the tumor damaged, which was the reason for me seeing double. Another $5000.00, I am straggling to pay rent, gas, insurance, utilities, groceries, etc., and now with this economy, it's getting harder to meet those bills.

After going back to the hospital for my follow-ups, getting MRIs, CT scans, and blood work every six months, everything seemed good. The cancer was in remission until the last follow-up in November 2025. I did all the studies just like I did every six months, but this time doctors didn't have good news. CT scans showed the cancer had moved to one of my lungs. Studies found a 5mm growth on my right lung.

Now I'm scheduled to go back in January 2026 to start treatment.

For this new and unfortunate problem the doctor wants to get in and get a biopsy, and after that, plan for the type of treatment I will be needing,

I’m really hoping for your help, monetary or sharing this Gofundme, that would be a wonderful way to help me to pay my present hospital bills and medications and next year the new CTs, maybe MRIs, blood work, maybe Chemo and Radiation (hope not), new medications and doctor's visits, and the most scary bill, the hospital when I get treated for my new cancer.
