Hello! I am crowdfunding for my upcoming gender affirming surgery in February. I’ve covered previous surgeries alone, but this operation has quite a bit more cost connected to it, so I am turning to you all to help me out! 

I am an early childhood teacher working primarily as an infant caretaker. I love the children and families I work with deeply, and feel very lucky to have this connection to parenthood that I may not be able to reach otherwise. In addition to teaching full time I babysit and run children’s birthday parties evenings and weekends to supplement my income. I feel very lucky for the life I have, and I hope you’ll consider donating so I can afford my medical care!

This fund will go towards…

• Medical bills after insurance, roughly estimated to be $8,150. (Surgeon fees, anesthesia fees, hospital fees)
• Required stay nearby hospital for 2 weeks following surgery, around $2,200
• Flights to and from hospital for surgery and 5 mandatory pre and post appointments, estimated at $2000 (provider is out of state)
• Living expenses during unpaid time off work, about 2-3 months of recovery with no income.
