In true education advocate style, Julie requested that in lieu of flowers money be donated for books to her youngest grandchild, Stian Sharp's, school. We will ensure that all funds donated serve this purpose.
She helped all her children and grandchildren learn to read and embraced that reading empowers knowledge. As an educator she worked to advocate for all learning styles and needs. It is very fitting that her request was to donate for school library books.
Stian's journey in education has had its hiccups. MorMor spent many school days in 2020 sitting on the outside of a glass front door writing backwards to Sti while he was learning to read. May this gift help others explore their mind through reading!
