This week has been a long and anxious week awaiting test results and doctors meeting with each other’s teams to come up with the best and safest game plan for treatment for baby girl Annie and mother Kaylee. This morning the high Risk OB doctor came in and gave us an update, Kaylee has a preliminary diagnosis of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. He told us oncology will be around to give us a more in depth update, that we figure will be Monday considering the weekend. He also stated the NICU doctors would be up to discuss the plan of delivery and all the care and treatment for baby Annie over the next few months. After delivery Kaylee will be moved to the cancer floor and receive her first round of radiation treatment. They will also be able to do a pet scan to see what stage and where all the cancer is through her body after her pregnancy.
