The Orthodox Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul (158 Stiles Street, Elizabeth, New Jersey, 07208) is turning to you with a heartfelt request for help.  During the hot season, the air inside the church becomes stuffy and humid. This not only causes discomfort for parishioners but also poses serious health risks for people with heart conditions, pregnant women, and the elderly.  Moreover, sudden changes in temperature and high humidity damage the church walls, iconography, and sacred images. Plaster begins to peel, stains appear, wood warps—all of which require constant minor repairs.  We ask all those who are able and willing to help preserve the church to consider making a donation—whatever amount you can offer will make a difference.
