My name is Kheila Blake, and I’m asking for support as I stay in Dallas with my 11-year-old daughter, Brooke, who has been hospitalized at Children’s Hospital Dallas with ARFID. After this stay, she will be transferred to an inpatient treatment center in Plano for at least a month.

I’ve had to temporarily relocate from Longview to the Dallas/Plano area so I can be with her during treatment. I will be staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Plano, but I still need help with daily living expenses, food, transportation, and bills back home. Brooke’s father, Marshall, is traveling back and forth as often as he can, which also adds to our costs.

We’ve been in the hospital for 14 days, and this journey has been overwhelming emotionally and financially. Any donation—big or small—will help us stay focused on Brooke’s recovery. Sharing the link also means so much.
