Watch and wait

I want to thank you all so much, at this time the vet is at the watch and wait period. She was seen and everything looks great considering her original condition. At this time she’s still very sore and stiff and she has some swelling still so I have been given medication to relax her muscles and given some exercises to help with the stiffness. It looks like the immediate need for surgery has cleared but she needs to go back to vet next month for a follow up. There’s no telling if it will happen again as once it happens the possibility for repeat injury will always be there, but I’m focusing on now, surgery can be postponed. Later down the road if she has problems we will have to pin the hip/joint but we are at a watch and wait for now!
Your support has been such a blessing and I’m so relieved I raised enough for a follow up appointment, medication and therapy exercise instructions. I literally raised just enough to cover her appointments and that had been an amazing relief seeing as how hard this was financially.
