Hello, my name is Elizabeth Perry. I have been accepted by UAB for kidney transplant and I am currently on their waiting list. Included in the donation amount request is the cost for surgery and the cost for the required month long stay in Birmingham after the transplant. I do have a job, however, Medication and mortgage and car payments take up the majority of my check and  I find it hard to save up. I haven't started dialysis yet, if my gfr drops one more point, to 10, I have surgery for peritoneal dialysis catheter, which is an added expense not included in this fundraiser, that will result in saving up even more difficult.
