Leba, who is the most gentle and sweetest doggo you'll ever meet, sustained life-threatening injuries from another dog when she interceded to protect a younger and smaller puppy.

My niece has gone into debt to pay for Leba's initial emergency surgery, and is now unable to afford the required follow-up surgery that is necessary to fix the remaining internal damage caused to Leba by the attack.
