Lilah is an almost 5 year old Alaskan Husky who chose me, Kato and Emmitt for her family almost 2 years ago, so I adopted her thru The August Fund. She is a super sweet, clingy velcro dog that looks like a coyote😅 She adores Kato and visa versa. Within the last week, she underwent 2 major surgeries. The first was for a small bowel obstruction due to a linear/fabric foreign body she ingested that required a gastrotomy and 2 enterotomies in order to safely remove the fabric. The 2nd was due to infection and tissue breakdown of the enterotomies that required 2 small bowel resections and tissue debridement, an unfortunately common complication. I (mom) have exhausted most of my funds and maxed out my credit cards. The money donated will go toward the cards that paid for her medical bills so far.  Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
