I’m reaching out for help on behalf of my dear friend, Lisa Dempsey. Lisa was recently diagnosed with small cell cervical cancer that has aggressively spread to her lymph nodes, and we are still awaiting further biopsy results. What began as a stage 3 diagnosis is now suspected to be stage 4, and her doctors believe this cancer has advanced rapidly—possibly affecting her entire body in under a year.

Starting Tuesday, May 20th, Lisa will begin palliative care, followed by intensive rounds of chemotherapy and radiation. This is going to be a long, hard battle, and she will need an entire village to help her through it. Given that she lost both of her parents to cancer, this support is more critical than ever, and any help is deeply appreciated.
