My school friend lives alone and is on Medicaid.  She is getting an operation in her back and won’t be ambulatory for three months after her cervical surgery.  She needs to hire help to take care of her whilst confined to her bed.  She has no other financial support other than Medicaid and social security.  The nurse she has contacted will stay with her in her house for $1,000 a week. (My friend lives in Puerto Rico where costs are lower than in the mainland).  She has asked me to help her raise the money she needs for medical care at home.
