Hi my name is a SamiJo Anderson I am Makayla’s mom Makayla has 3 brother and a sister she comes from a big happy home! Recently Makayla was sent home from school with a tummy ache we just had the 1st week of school so we thought nothing of it. That night me and her father could tell something wasn’t right about it and decided to take her to the hospital, they said it was a severe UTI and we brought her home. After the hole weekend and nothing was better we took her back, they told me she has a stomach infection antibiotics blah blah! So we decided to take her to another hospital at which we found out she had not only the UTI stomach infection and appendicitis that had ruptured and she has had infection leaking out for days now and they transferred her to another hospital for emergency surgery! Bitter sweet to finally know what was going on but terrified for what was to come! She went under had the surgery took 3 hours of clean and flushing out the infection we thought we were on the road to recovery and five days after the surgery she was still not getting better it turned out the slippage from the appendix was still in side under her liver and created a abscessed which had to be drained! On the scans of her abscess they realized it was causing fluids to back up into her lung. Makayla just had another procedure today she had drain tubes put in one in her chest for the lung and another into the abscess! we’re hoping this is her road to recovery finally and the infection leaves her body and she free of all of this painful experience! Unfortunately we have not been able to work we are the regular week to week  financial operation like most family’s and the bills are piling up and I want her to know we have a home to go back to after this is all over with! Shes expected to be in here another week and I just don’t know what else to do! If there’s anything anyone is able to do to help our family is greatly appreciated, even if it just a share or a prayer it all adds up!!
