Hi my name is Marc Verrier. On May 23rd 2024 I unfortunately had to have my left leg amputated below the knee due to a flesh eating bacteria. My diabetes was the culprit because I couldn't care for myself like I needed to. I have now been home since the end of June. I have my prosthetic leg but at this time I am still awaiting on the finished fitting and foot so that I can walk more naturally but waiting on the insurance to send the approval. I have no idea of when I can return to work because of the approval. The money I have saved from CT FMLA is almost completely exhausted. By the middle of October after paying bills, buying food etc., the money will be gone. My wife has been doing her best to keep us sustained but has not been an easy ride. I'm just trying to raise money if all possible to help keep us sustained till I return to work. I am hoping by November to December of this year. If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it not for just me but my family as a whole. Thank you.
