Mariel was a father until his 6 year daughter Sophia was taken in 2019 by COVID-19. He has struggled and suffered every day to cope with her loss. He has since struggled with his own health and has very recently been admitted to the Critical Care Center in Puyallup, Wa. He was laid off from his carpenter job the month before due to company financial struggles, and with that job went his insurance coverage. This money will go to the day-to-day needs until he is able to return to work.
